A recent study by Nirit Soffer-Dudek from Ben Gurion University and Eli Somer from the University of Haifa suggests that maladaptive daydreaming (MD) may be linked with obsessive compulsions. The public and media interest in MD continues. We hope that more scientists will join the efforts of members of The International Consortium for Maladaptive Daydreaming Research (ICMDR) in investigating this perplexing condition.
