The open access journal Qualitative Report published a paper today describing the discourse of maladaptive daydreamers with a researcher of this phenomenon. The authors employed Critical Discourse Analysis to identify the verbal strategies employed by the participants to persuade their interlocutor about the realness of their suffering. This paper is dedicated to the countless of individuals who have volunteered to take part in MD research. Thank you!
