Valeria Franco, the administrator of the online community “Maladaptive Daydreaming Italia” has recently posted an online interview with ICMDR’s scientific director, Dr. Nirit Soffer-Dudek. Nirit, is director of The Consciousness and Psychopathology Laboratory at Ben Gurion University (BGU) of the Negev, in Israel. She is also head of the graduate clinical psychology track at BGU.
In this interview, Dr. Soffer-Dudek answers questions posed by members of the Italian online MD community and the international MD forum at wildminds.ning.com. Nirit discusses cutting-edge research findings on the relationship between MDand other mental disorders such as obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD), Attention-deficit disorder/ Hyperactivity (ADHD), addiction and, other consciousness phenomena as hypnosis and night dreams.
