Welcome

The International Consortium for Maladaptive Daydreaming Research (ICMDR) is an informal network of scientists interested in the study of maladaptive daydreaming. We come from different parts of the world to exchange knowledge and skills for the purpose of promoting knowledge in the field. On the ICMDR website you can find scientific publications about maladaptive daydreaming, assessment instruments for MD, media and other information sources reporting MD.

Those struggling with compulsive fantasy often wish to self-assess with a test for maladaptive daydreaming.
