US News & World Report publishes story on maladaptive daydreaming (MD)

A broad story on MD was published yesterday in US News & World Report. With 300 million readers, this is quite a nice exposure for this under-recognised condition. The news magazine story labeled Is Your Excessive Daydreaming a Sign of a More Serious Problem? features information from a newly published study by Nirit Soffer-Dudek and Eli Somer, researchers from our consortium. Their longitudinal study titled Trapped in a Daydream: Daily Elevations in Maladaptive Daydreaming Are Associated With Daily Psychopathological Symptoms was recently published in Frontiers in Psychiatry.
