As 2018 comes to a close we reviewed the incredible progress this young field has made during this year. Eight papers were published in peer reviewed journals, four papers were accepted for publication in peer reviewed journals, six papers were presented in international scientific conferences, one chapter was published, and three Master's degree theses were completed. For details visit the publications page of our website. Another indication of the growing global interest in MD is the mushrooming number of translations for our MD measure. The MDS-16 is now available in 30 languages: Albanian, Arabic, Armenian, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Hungarian, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Kyrgyz, Macedonian, Marathi, Norwegian, Persian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Turkish, Serbian, Swedish, Spanish and Vietnamese.

Thank you Montserrat Valls Navarro for the latest translation into the Catalan language, and thanks to the many volunteers from across the world who work so hard to promote MD awareness.

Happy 2019 everyone!
