Daydreaming featured today on Germany's public TV station ZDF

Today the popular morning show "Volle kanne"(Full pot) of the German public television network ZDF, aired a report on daydreaming. The network stated on its webpage: "Daydreaming is "task-independent thinking". There are studies that demonstrate the daydreamers' intelligence and creativity, but daydreaming can also have negative effects". The story included a report on maladaptive daydreaming. The International Consortium for Maladaptive Daydreaming Research (ICMDR)

The ICMDR is a platform for scientific cooperation and a depository of information on immersive and dysfunctional forms of daydreaming. Established in 2017, comprises researchers at various stages of their careers, from different parts of the world.
